Grade Point Average
GPA (GRADE POINT AVERAGE)
GPA (Grade Point Average) is a student’s average grade, computed on a four-point scale:
A = 4.00, B = 3.00, C = 2.00, D = 1.00, F = 0.00
There are many free online GPA calculators! Here's one:

Colleges and universities utilize many types of GPA. Read below for a description of each type of GPA displayed on your LAUSD academic transcript.
NO D POLICY
The NOW Academy does not award Ds as an academic mark. Students must hold a passing grade of C or better to receive credit in the courses. However, should a student enter NOW Academy with grades of Ds, we will honor those grades from their previous school, summer school or adult school.
