District policy requires all schools and all personnel to promote mutual respect, tolerance, and acceptance among student and staff. All students and staff of public primary, elementary, middle school, and high school have the inalienable right to attend campuses which are safe, secure and peaceful." [Article, Section 28 (c) of the California State Constitution]
Students at NOW Academy are expected to be familiar with all behavioral expectations, both school-wide and in their respective classrooms. Students must take responsibility for their own learning and their behavioral choices. Student must comply with all school staff member requests and make behavioral behavioral choices that contribute to their safety and the safety of others. They are expected to abide by these guidelines in all that they do on the school campus in order to create a peaceful and productive learning environment.
